Dr Maria Wegrzynowski, (MBBS, FRACGP)
Dr Wegrzynowski is a female GP who speaks Polish and English. She graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1984 and has she has practised at St. Vincents Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital and Royal Children’s Hospital.
Dr Wegrzynowski has worked at St. Albans Medical Services since 1989, with 28 years of experience in all aspects of general practice. Her special interests include women’s health, shared care obstetric antenatal care, postnatal care, menopause, implanon implants, paediatrics, counselling, mental health and chronic disease management, including diabetes, asthma, heart disease, hypertension and arthritis.
Dr Wegrzynowski works 3 days a week and is currently accepting new patients.
Dr Barbara Rados, (MBBS, FRACGP)
Dr. Barbara Rados is a female GP who speaks Polish and English. She completed her medical training in both Europe and Australia.
In 2004 she obtained fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Her work experience includes terms in several hospitals including St. George Hospital, Sydney. Dr Rados has worked in different areas of medicine such as Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, Respiratory medicine, Aged care and Psychiatry.
In 2005 she joined St. Albans Medical Services and her interests include chronic disease management such as diabetes, arthritis, asthma, heart disease, hypertension, aged care, psychiatry and women’s health.
Dr Sarah Allen, (Bmed, FRACGP)
Dr Allen studied medicine at the University of Newcastle before specialising in General Practice and gaining her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2011. Her medical interests include all areas of women's health, mental health and paediatrics. Dr Allen performs Pap smears and some minor procedures including skin excisions, some joint injections, Implanon and Cryotherapy. She works 2 mornings each week and is accepting new patients.
Dr Amid Karami (MD, FRACGP)
Dr Amid Karami started his career in Australia as a General Practitioner in 2014 after 4 years of foreign experience in General Practice.
Dr. Amid was granted his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner's in 2017.
His interests are Mental Health, Pregnancy and Antenatal Care, Paediatric Medicine, Skin Cancer and procedures as well as chronic disease management including Diabetes, Asthma, COPD
Dr Evgeny Afanasyev (MD, FRACGP)
Dr Evgeny Afanasyev joined our practice 10/09/2018, he is a very experienced General Practitioner.
He acquired an MD degree in Russia and received his fellowship in the year 2016.
He has been working in Australia for over 5 years.
His interest lies in overall family health checks, musculoskeletal treatment, chronic disease management including diabetes, preventive medicine, and minor procedures.
He is fluent in Russian and English languages.
When not at his clinical work, Dr Evgeny enjoys teaching doctors on training and spending time with his family.
